Apostle Gary Smith is a native of Hattiesburg MS and currently resides in Laurel MS. He’s the Husband to Pastor Kimberly Smith (Married in 2003) of which they have 6 children and 5 grandchildren. He and his wife are both Sr. Pastors of Salem Baptist Church in Paulding, Mississippi. 

 

Apostle Smith is a 1990 Graduate of Hattiesburg High School after which, he joined the United States Army where he fought valiantly in Operation Desert Storm. He also received numerous awards including: The Bronze Star, The Driving Badge, The Iraqi Freedom Award, The Arcom and others. In 2014 Apostle Smith graduated from Southeastern Baptist College receiving his Associates of Arts in Theology. He gives an enormous amount of credit for his drive, discipline, and passion for ministry to his parents, Willie Lamar Smith and Janet F. Smith.  Apostle Gary is CEO of Jacob’s Ladder Construction founded in 2009.

 

Apostle Gary was called into ministry in 2006, Ordained as a Pastor in 2016 by Pastor Antonnio Benton and the Late Pastor Tonyia Benton and Affirmed as an Apostle in 2022 by Apostle Omar Morton.  He is a contributing Author to Sons of Purpose - published in 2022.  Apostle Gary Smith is the founder of Salem Alliance International of which he and his wife Pastor Kimberly Smith Oversees other Ministries in The Body of Christ.

 

Apostle Gary seeks to please the Lord with his whole life and his endeavor to push the Body of Christ into greatness is priority in his life.
